This is actually an amazing story. In the modern me me me era, very old fashioned, old school.

The attitude change was palpable - it made a huge difference. (BTW, also team speed increased a lot!)

Cavanaugh deserves great credit for setting up the kids to succeed. They then took ownership of destiny of the team. It was fun to have a front row seat to that. Now the challenge is to make it part of the marrow of UConn hockey. This team broke through last season and they still have a chip on their shoulder which will sustain them in the future. Can't wait for the first puck to drop!
