Cudo's to Houston for having such a great season capped off by their impressive 38-24 win over the Seminoles in the Peach Bowl.

UCONN's exciting win over Houston should serve as a huge confidence builder for Diaco and team in 2016.

As noted, the American had a great year lead by Houston, Navy (18th ranked) Temple and Memhis.

The American's 2016's OOC schedule could go a long way towards reafirming the AAC as the best of the G5

American P5 opponents

Houston - Opens up with 5th ranked Oklahoma and plays Louisville
SMU - Baylor, TCU
Navy - ND
Tulsa - Ohio State
Memphis - Kansas, Miss
Tulane - Wake Forest

UCONN - VA, Cuse, BC
Temple - Penn State
ECU - NCS, SC, VA Tech
UCF - Michigan, Maryland
USF - Cuse, FSU
Cincy - Purdue, BYU (not P5 but..)

UCONN has a decent shot of going 3-0 next year against P5 opponents.

Not to mention the statement they could make to the ACC by sweeping 3 games vs them. Over all I see the AAC not being quite as good as they were this year as player turnover will take it's toll. For example Navy will be hard pressed to duplicate the numbers Reynolds put out and Temple loses 10 on defense(including 4 DB's & Matakevich & their kicker). But others should step up like UConn and USF.
