But only 2 second chance points. How does that happen? UConn only had 4 offensive rebounds, but 9 second chance points. Might be the stat of the game. Besides 77-71 of course.

It was crazy good. They just couldn’t pass the ball very reminiscent of the 14 tourney when boat would take the ball handler right at half court and kill him from the bottom. Had that feel. This was just all effort. That was a great plan with a great player. Boat was the face of the on ball d with brimah back there to swatGreat observation.
And we were 4-17from three.
Our defense was very good. And our heart was very big.

It seemed like, and Hurley mentioned it, that a lot of their offensive rebounds happened on a single possession where they would get four or three offensive rebounds on a single attack.
Here's another stat.
Houston had 71 shots to just 48 for UConn. What does that tell yu about our improvement in offensive efficiency?
There was one possession in the second half where they had 5 chances and came away with nothingFelt like they had that many rebounds in just 2 possessions.
I need to watch a replay to verify, but I seem to remember two separate possessions where they had 3 or 4 shots without scoring and one where it took them 4 shots to score. But only 2 second chance points.
