House of Cards?

Have always heard great things about this show so decided to start it this past weekend. Only watched the first two episodes and came away thinking it was dumb and unrealistic. I know just two episodes is an unfair sampling to write off a show. Does it pick up and get much better, should I stick with it?

It's really good until about midway through season 3.

I think the current campaign has taken some of the starch out of the show. If anything the show becomes more believable.

I think the idea was to have a hyperexaggerated, pumped up version of political life with some violent felonies thrown in.

Some plot lines stretch belief, no doubt... I consciously decided to say f it and just enjoy the ride.
