He plays for Kent State

With so much turnover, I'm curious how Joe Dooley handles his rotation at East Carolina.

Looking over the team's first boxscores, he's been playing 10 regularly, 8 of which are players completely new to the program (including former UConn target Charles Coleman).

What's interesting about his rotation is its size: 6'4, 6'5, 6'6 x2, 6'7 x4, 6'11 and 7'0.

The average size of an East Carolina player: 6'7 1/5 and 209 lbs.

Watching a little Trey Mitchell for the 2nd time. Lots of potential in this kid, already an impact kid. Ways to go for consistency but will be really good for UMass if he stays.

Oh and today they’re playing Fairfield good to see Pat Sellers on the sideline.

As someone very involved with the special needs population that is very cool for me to see.

He has autism but it doesn’t affect his game much. If anything it helps him. He’s very informative and lively on the court. Sometimes may lose his emotional control but it’s a game, who doesn’t? Keep an eye on him he’s very good.

Things to look for in today’s action

BC @ USF: How will USF look without Yetna against a decent team.

FLORIDA ST. @ FLORIDA: We knew Florida was able to beat North Florida by 15 led by Kelly Blackshear Jr. But how will they look like against a Florida State team who is worse than last year but still better than North Florida.

St. JOSEPH’S @ OLD DOMINION: Next opponent and Jaylin Hunter plays for ODU

JAMES MADISON @ UVA: Will James Madison be able to score more than Cuse (34) and James Madison will be on the road.

ILLINOIS @ ARIZONA: How will Kofi fair against his 1st power5 opponent.

UCSB @ UCLA: After escaping Long Beach State 69-65 how will Mick’s team show up today

USF is getting teared apart on the dribble penetration, likely has something to do with no presence of Yetna.

Edit: ok now BC is draining some 3s. But there have been so many steals and missed layups by USF. USF is also terrible at FTs

Florida/Florida St. on espn right now. Great look at a team we may see twice within the next couple weeks against a quality opponent.

USF gonna lose to BC at home by double digits

without their best player that is a team we should expect to beat this year.

True, but they are winning. The beginning of the season can be a very strange time lol. We'll see how they do over the course of the season and in the Big East, Ewing may or may not be the answer. Still way to early to tell.

I never bought into their hype. We should "expect" to beat them.

Moving the 3 point line back may have made a bigger impact than we all thought most these games have been VERY low scoring. Wyoming scored just 32 points today against South Carolina.
