Home & home with Oregon!

Glad to see this. The game in 2020 should be great assuming Ionescu comes back.

I am probably wrong but it seems in these home @ home series, UConn gets home first most of the time??

Another team wants to play UConn after quote "their best players" graduates. You will learn 2019-2020, no matter who graduated...UConn is still UConn :).

Possible.
More likely depends on other aspects of the sked -- how many other home/away games that season and particularly for cross-country opponent, the ability to arrange another game.

I'm sure they can lug my iron lung into the stadium in 21-22 season.. Not safe for me to fly anymore. Why driving over mountains is better IDN, but count me in for the Oregon game in 21-22!

Hmmm . . . interesting timing on the announcement. If I'm not mistaken, Ms. Jones has Oregon on finalist list. But I guess it wouldn't be her senior year. Although Lou was scheduled to play in L.A. this past year.

The last time I saw a Husky game from the stands it was with Southbranch in Hartford with a young, struggling team ... freshman guard who became "I love you man" as a national champion. Who is she, and what was her freshman year?

Carl made mention that there was another big announcement related to a home and home series with someone.

Any ideas?

Don't forget that Sabrina has an option to turn pro at the conclusion of this season. Wonder if this announce has any impact on that decision .

It could, though the direction isn’t clear to me.

Oregon State (Corvallis, OR) is 45 minutes up the road from UO (Eugene, OR). Shame that UCONN cannot squeeze in a game with OSU during their trip to Eugene.

  1. Who says they can't?
  2. Ore St also has to be interested and available.
  3. Timing might be tied to resumption of Stanford series.
  4. Though I'd understand if Geno had a desire to spread out the trip geographically, and perhaps hit SoCal or the Rockies, to appeal to future recruits.

It is great to play an up and coming program like Oregon. Hopefully UCONN will continue to play them after the two years end.

Stay away from the West Coast. Their home games are televised by the Pac-12 Network. which a lot of us can not watch.(see Dec. 22 of this year)

I've have Pac 12 Network. I don't see what the problem is...

I don't have SNY or whatever it is that covers every UConn game that isn't on ESPN.

Thankfully I have both. The Pac 12 is a fun conference to watch.
