I go to UW....they remember. They lost Wroten and Ross but still have some size with N'Diaye. Just picked up JC player of year in Mark Mclaughlin. I personally know him. Kid is possibly NBA talent only reason he went to JC was because of personal issues. Actually he went to Baylor for a bit then came back. They have two studs forward C.J. Wilcox and guard Abdul Gaddy. Should be a great game. Both teams sort of rebuilding.

why are we making a effort for all these west coast trips all of a sudden? why?

sdsu and bosie were thanks yous for joining in football now this. we were about to do the navy ship thing out there also until that fell thru(but i think were doing 1 on the east coast now). why all this west coast stuff? ko is from LA right? are we going out there so he can recruit more/better his home turf?

Probably because scheduling games isn't just you say "Hey let's play this team and it happens."

that was an awesome "home and home". I think our "home" game was in Boston if I remember correctly. I remember screaming and yelling at the TV for the game out in Seattle that went to OT. That was a really fun series, would love to have UW be similiar.

yes and that was a good series. Wash will be a good one also. both are good programs, name brands and we have a bit of history with each.

06-07 st marys and pepp but both were @ uconn
07-08 zaga series
08-09 zaga series
09-10 no west coast games
10-11 no west coast games, mauni tney but thats not a series and we didn't play west coast teams
11-12 no west coast games

we were going out there somewhat then we stopped. now all of a sudden were going back out there again. i'm just wondering why.

Wash is a good series. sdsu and bsu have potential but lets not get it twisted. texas, tenn, gt, fl, ind, unc, mich all team we have had series with recently(past 10 years) among others correct? why can't we keep the east coast brand names going. thats whats best for our alum fans trying to see games in other areas and for our recruiting. unless were trying to recruit LA hard...I'm fine with going to Wash or Zaga or Zona, but not much else out there. The product and follwoing out there has died off big time.

I'm pretty sure the Zona and Zags games in 2006 were in Maui as well. Denham hit a clutch shot at the end to beat Adam Morrison and company.

This should be fun. We've had some awesome XL crowds for the major OOC games over the years; TN, Ark, UNC, Ill, OK, TX...

I have a friend who went to UW and grew up rooting for them. I assure you they remember. To this day he cringes if your mention Rashad or RIP.

I agree that this will be a fun match up. Games like this against other "name" programs will also help keep the Huskies in the spotlight during our probation year next year.

It's not really anything new. Just off the top of my head, we've played series with Arizona, Stanford, and Gonzaga the last 15 years.
