Well, well, what a nice surprise to find Connecticut v. Duke on 3/28/2006 @ Harboryard Arena in Bridgeport now available. A lot of the feelings I have for the program today were formed having attended that night.
I thought Barbara Turner had the greatest night in the history of the program only to be felled by cramps. Box score tells a slightly different story but I'll always have a very soft spot for her. And the promise of Renee Montgomery, gives me goose bumps knowing what follows. Brittany Hunter didn't have much to give that night but she proved without a doubt that when CGA recruits you, you're recruited. One of the few good losses in the programs history IMNSHO.
There's no way that I am aware of to Thank the folks at the binary sister site. Thank You.
