If Kentucky beats Stony Brook, these are the four teams in Des Moines

1. Kansas (3 titles) vs. 9. UConn (4)
4. Kentucky (8) vs. 5. Indiana (5)

That's 20 titles.

Question: has there been a double header with more national titles than this one in the post season?

Need some combination of UCLA/UNC/Kentucky/Duke to beat it.

2015 Final Four
Kentucky (8)
Duke (4)
Michigan State (2)
Wisconsin (1)

15 Titles

2008 Final Four
UCLA (11)
UNC (4)
Kansas (2)
Memphis (0)

17 Titles

I'm wondering if there has been a region with 20 titles, or even close to it.

I brought up this subject in another thread (maybe conf realignment board).

Someone else mentioned these tix will be in HIGH demand. Arena should be packed. Will have Regional Final atmosphere- fans closer and louder than FF's in football stadiums.

Let's please propagate this storyline. The more we're discussed in this company, the better.

I expect UConn-Kansas will be the first game and I'm sure Kentucky and Indiana fans will be rooting hard for UConn. So hopefully at least 3/4 of the place will be on the good guys' side.

My hope is that the Kansas and Kentucky fans will be greedy and look ahead to the sweet 16 to show up in their typical droves. Indiana I'm expecting to be there in full force since it's not a terrible drive and this is relatively new to them. This is all probably wishful thinking.
I still haven't bought my ticket for Saturday. Stubhub is becoming unreasonable. Hoping to find a dejected Buff, Stoney Brook or 'nooga fan tomorrow when I get into town.

the best thing about having these four teams there is that KU fans won't be able to own the building like we did MSG in 2014

UK and IN will travel
