I was watching the Santa Cruz/Maine game online last night and had a grand old time watching Hilton Armstrong demolish Fab Melo. At one point Hilton just flat-out posterized him with a one-handed jam and Melo just looked over at the coach and made a "please get me out of the game" expression.

Isn't Maine the team Donyell coaches (as an assistant)?

I'm sorry

The D-League games actually aren't that bad, they're highly competitive much of the time and pretty entertaining. If you want to watch some snore-inducing basketball, watch the Peruvian league. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Still pisses me off every time I think about how the Celtics passed on Perry Jones for Fab ducking Melo. Seriously. Want to groom a prospect? Take someone who actually has talent and potential. Want a 7 foot stiff for a couple of boards and fouls? Take Plumlee instead. Not Fab Melo.

Plumlee will be a very good player in the D league also..........

The Fab Melo things was puzzling as well as Joseph, 2 good college players at best with no future's in the NBA. Joseph was a glorified jump shooter and not a great one of those either.......2 guys from the 2-3 zone Danny? How's that working for you?

Not a good off season for Mr Ainge:oops:

Well considering he had to make a team that could still contend with what it had, he did a pretty good job of that. But he can't draft. At all. Sullinger, Glen Davis, and to an extent Avery Bradley are the only good draft picks since putting the Big 3 together.

Have to agree with you on this one! Perry JonesIII is rotting on the Thunder bench right now, where if he was in Boston this kid would be putting in work. He has a very high ceiling! I would take Perry JonesIII over Jared Sullinger right now today!
