It seemed like he played better there than he did when he was with us. I still hope he does well in the pro's though.

In the West Virginia game he was also hitting those outside shots.

Yes, but they were much more of line drives and his release was a whole lot lower.

I have no idea how it will translate, but his shot (free throws excluded) at least looks a hell of a lot better.

I wish he was here, but I don't think he would improve a whole lot given who he would be practicing against. Hope he proves the nay sayers wrong.

How many FGs did he attempt? Were those lucky shots or has he really refined his game?

Yeah, he's playing at 3 against the Magic.

But even while he was here, I thought that Drummond's "game" was more suited for the NBA than college, where the spacing is better and he can really showcase his athleticism. That being said, he's definitely improved quite a bit since he's left UConn. Before the draft he worked really hard with Idan Rivan, who's been deemed the "hoops whisperer" for getting into talented players' heads to make them understand and believe how good they are. I think that has always been part of the problem with Andre, that he hasn't realized his insane physical gifts. Ravin is one of the NBA's most sought after personal trainers and has worked with LeBron, Melo, Chris Paul, and Amar'e among others. Hopefully he, along with the Pistons' coaching staff, can really bring along Andre's development. Many of us here have been following Andre long before he enrolled at UConn, and I really wish him all the best in the league.

When those fallaway jumpers go in the basket, like they did in the West Virginia game, then we all feel great about how well his offensive game is coming along.

When those shots don't go in, they're terrible shots, plain and simple. Not trying to be negative just for the sake of being negative, but I'm willing to bet that those shots will not be received well by Andre's head coach if they're taken in a regular season game.

He went 4 for 6 with eight points. His shot selection was good and his shot looked smooth.

Good to hear. He has a nice touch on those little fadeaways. I hope for his sake that he develops some consistent post moves.

Yeah, I was hoping I'd see him go to the post more, but it seemed like he was more comfortable with jump shots against kanter.

Worst case scenario is he is Ben Wallace II. I think he has Dwight Howard lite potential.

Yeah my fault for not double checking the schedule. My cable guide said Detroit but it is now fixed.
