Most SMU fans left. Smaller crowd for game 2. But Memphis and SMU both have bands making a lot of noise.

Last night some teams didn't bring a band. I guess it costs a lot to bring the cheerleaders, band etc. Thought the AAC pays for that, guess not.

I bought 4 all session for like 200 with the fees and shipping. I bought too early.

This is a tough league to hold a tourney for. You don't just hope the 9:10 to Grand Central from Dallas or Houston. There was talk at one point of playing this at the Palestra which I favored. The location is better. It has a real history in college basketball. And the size is such that a smaller crowd doesn't seem small. And 9000 isn't so small. Or look at something like Mohegan Sun Arena with 10000 seats.

1000 people in the XL looks awful. Or go radical and play the first round on campus with just the final four traveling.

Should be at Mohegan Sun. Maybe you would get people to travel to a casino. Also, people would be getting compt tickets so it would help fill seats

Saw someone on another board have the idea of the highest seed hosting. Not bad in theory, but it can't exactly be a last minute decision. Sites are always predetermined before the following season.
