Had the privilege to meet Herm Edwards in 2012? when he was Walter Camp Football Man of the Year - consummate class act. He also spoke @ the WCFF Breakfast of Champions the day before where the CT HS Football Teams were honored and had the kids absolutely riveted to his talk.

In today's day and age...a guy like that sending that message to those kids is invaluable. The incident is fresh and they are embarking on careers in college that are at the same level as Boykin.

The way he delivers the message should give all those kids goosebumps. The game at their next level is no joke. You screw up, you pay. All kids at that level should understand this. Yet we see the same things happen year after year. The NFL has the Rookie symposium, the HS all-star games has a similar thing with NFL coaches coming in. Continue with this into the future. A big one, was with Uconn bringing in Maurice Clarett to talk to the team this season. I think every student athlete needs more of that.
