Late in the game - several games lately - the game is close but we are up by a few points. Everyone in the building knows that the opponent is going to foul someone hoping we'll miss a free throw. And we have Purvis out there who is shooting 60%. We are a great free throw shooting team; top 5 in the country. And we could put five guys out there who, collectively are shooting 86%. Adams, Gibbs, Calhoun, Hamilton, and Nolan. And invariably Purvis is fouled. I just don't understand.

He tends hit to hit big ones though. Gibbs missed a front end last night and 3 straight vs Georgetown.

I'm the subject of FTs it was 20-2 before they started intentionally fouling

Like some of us speculated, once he got rid of that damn unnecessary flip, his FT% would go up significantly. Wasn't rocket science to figure that one out, frustrating how long it took someone on the staff or team to get that point across to him.
