Take away Daniels shooting 6 for 12 from the field and the rest of the team shot 9 for 39 which is 23% WOW
I've watched some bad games played by a good team, but this has to be one of the worst all around performances. I can't think of a single area that UConn performed well in never mind outplayed UL. They beat us at every facet of the game today.
Now I'm not overly alarmed since the overall outcome of the game was a result of one that simply got out of reach early. I see it as an out-liar (sp?), though granted against a team that we simply match-up horribly against.
As I posted in another thread, having to face Memphis (granted on their home court again) a team we beat twice to get the rights to face UC, a team we slip and almost beat twice for the chance of facing UL (not to mention avoiding having to face SMU another bad matchup who beat us up twice) in the final isn't that bad of a draw.
Look on the bright side. I can't imagine this team playing any worse if we get to face UL again, or can we!
