our rpi is virtually unchanged at around 85. If we run table from here, it projects to 39, and your top 40 are usually automatic for at large.
Only 6 games!

Or we could just win the conference tournament.

Better chance at this point. No real reason to believe we'll win 6 games in a row.

Much better chance getting a 5 seed and winning just 3 games in a row in Hartford.

I don't see anyway we win the AAC tourney which was our only hope to make the tourney. We lost to SMU by 9 points at home and got crushed yesterday. One way or another, we will cross paths with them in the tourney and lose again. Even if we made the tourney, I don't see us winning more than a game. I'd prefer we focus on next year and hopefully can improve our recruiting. I have serious fears that being in the AAC is turning our basketball program into our football program. Senhor T. where are you? Maybe we need a Senhorita V. this season??

We've played reasonably well at home this year, the 3 home losses are the 2 virtual buzzer beaters and no 2nd half/ot with boat in the other. With the AAC tournament at home I'm not giving up. If anything I'm looking forward to seeing how this team repsonds March 1st.
