Does anyone know how Cicero did against The Hill School on Sunday?

How did Breanna do?

How's this? Final was 62-52 Cicero.

"After winning their first two MAPL games of the season earlier in the week, Hill stumbled today against Cicero-North Syracuse High School in the Blue Star High School Showcase at Upper Dublin High School.

Hill had to contend with the #1 recruit in the country, Breanna Stewart, who is headed to UConn next season, and they had their hands full all game. Stewart finished with 44 points including all but 2 of her team’s 22 second half points. Hill was led on the offensive end by Deanna Mayza’s 19, but also had a balanced attack from four others: senior Claire Maree O’Bryan finished with 9; senior Monica Patel chipped in with 8, junior Sara Graham and senior Taylor Silar both added 7."

Yikes! Was Bre inspired by watching the UConn kids?

Maybe Breanna has been in touch with Morgan Tuck, who has gone over 40 points at least 3 times this season.

Nice game for Breanna and the team!

She had to dominate the scoring (44 of her team's 62 points) to ensure her team won .As reported in an article following a game recently, she likes get her teammates involved in scoring. Unless required like last night, she probably won't have to many similar games this season.

The USAToday rankings are out today and Cicero is up to national #5.
They did play last night against a local Syracuse team...anyone know how they did?

Bolingbrook is #8 at 13-1....that lone loss to Cicero.

National #1....undefeated St. Mary's of Phoenix....was the one that beat Cicero in Arizona
by about 8 with Breanna going for around 33.

National #6...Nazareth of NYC....undefeated....is a possible NYS Federation tourney
opponent for Cicero down the road in Albany. That probably would be Breanna's last game in high school...
a fitting opponent for a ring.

Last night Cicero beat Utica Proctor 58-29. Breanna had 24.

I'm guessing that she had outscored the oppositon by the time she sat down for the night. Amazing!
