The bigger your house the less sense it makes long term. I’ve seen electric bills of $600-$800 using only heat strips so just be mindful. I’d consider a wood stove or pellet stove if it makes sense in your house to offset the use. Could cost you a 1/3rd of the cost. Dry air is another downside but it’s solvable. Might be rough on the property value having a bunch of baseboard with no hot water running through it but that might not matter to you. [/QUOTE]
