If there's one thing we've had here recently (minus the PP Black Hole) it's some very quotable Head Coaches.
Calhoun and Geno are in a league of their own and need no commentary, and Edsall even had his share of good ones. But now we've got HCBD and KO, young, energetic, overwhelmingly passionate leaders of our most important programs and damn!t if they don't have some great rallying cries for the team and fans.
KO has Ten Toes In and No Escalators.
My favorite HCBD ones so far:
No Energy Vampires
With love and diligence, anything is possible
And one that seems so perfect for a hashtag for UConn, #winningeveryday
Such a great mantra there. I hope the players buy into that whole-heartedly and practice that every day, because it's a fantastic lesson not just on the field but in life.
