The Shot always needs to be the shot. So no 2.0.

Mullins Miracle certainly is a good one.

What to call the Mullin shot …. Hmmmm?

It was his shot and it was glorious!!!! Great ideas so far and I have nothing to more creative to offer. I can see ten years from now asking someone what was it they called that Mullin shot?

It's whatever you wanna call it, I call it "Mullins" ya it sounds corny but so does "the shot" if you heard it for the first time and not for the last 30 plus years. I do believe it takes time to come up with a name, it can't be forced and it needs to roll off the tongue fast and easy imo.
Correct - no need to force a name on it. If it something spontaneous like "Do you believe in Miracles" or "The Immaculate reception" then ok.

I will recall the shot for a long, long time without a name.

The shot isn't even possible without the Silas blocked pass....so it's really the whole play.

But "The Block, The Pass, The Pass, The Shot" is probably too long 😉
The Finish

It’s the shot 2.0 I was fortunate enough to be 13 years old for” the shot “with Tate now I saw this one. Blessed. It’s already on t shirts
My grandson is wearing one already!

We always have Tate George associated with “The Shot,” but what name do we give to Mullins’ shot? Saw a few good ones thrown around. I feel it’s our duty as the Boneyard to aptly name it!
It’s late. It’s great. It’s Tate

Since the obvious choice The Mullin Shot has not been fully and universally adopted. I will offer a really good 2nd choice: The Eliminator.
