What the hell happened to this kid???

his real extreme behavior started after his bad concussion after his excellent freshman yr. I said in another thread that yrs ago I coached an all-league kid in their junior yr that after a bad concussion, never came back the same. Was a shell of what they were before. There weren't the same protocols 15-20 yrs ago, and though they never complained about headaches/vision, they did get easily frustrated, didn't seem the same all senior yr. Maybe it was frustration, maybe lingering concussion. Not sure why Curbelo has melted down, but I have a theory.

He was Big 10 Sixth Man of the Year and All Freshmen Team. All downhill from there. Spend 5 years in school at three schools and not even get a degree out of it.

The boneyard being the boneyard, devolved in another direction. There's no reason to trash the kid after the fact, which is exactly what several replies (deleted) to this post have done.
