Here's my recollection:
-Probably the most "underdog" of any UCONN title team, entering the game at 34-0. I know a lot of people thought Tennessee would come through and win Pat's 4th, but UCONN had to have been the favorite with an unblemished record and win over UT going into the game.
-UCONN was the heavy favorite in this one. I remember during the podcast, Annie Meyer's stated that 37 sportswriters made predictions, and 33 picked UCONN, but all picked close games.
-UCONN overwhelming favorite
-UCONN was the top overall seed and the favorite, but I think a lot of people thought Tennessee had a great chance to win it all this year.
-Opposite of 2003. UCONN was a 2 seed and Tennessee was technically the favorite, but based on how the teams were playing and history, I believe Vegas odds tipped to UCONN's favor
-Overwhelming favorite over Louisville
-Overwhelmign favorite over Stanford
-Overwhelming favorite over Louisville
-Overwhelming favorite over Notre Dame
-Overwhelming favorite over Notre Dame
