After a regular season game?
yup... last night
It's for winning the SEC title.
So if UConn wins at ND will they cut down the nets? No, it's for winning the regular season title. If they won it on the road would they have cut down the nets?
I do understand the tourney title on a neutral court. But this was unusual.
No, the janitors at ND wouldn't let them.So if UConn wins at ND will they cut down the nets?
In the case of the UCONN Women, I believe they do not cut down the nets for BE Regular or Tourney Champs nor for NCAA Regional Champs. They only cut down if National Champs.
Never. So if UConn wins at ND will they cut down the nets?

That must have been instituted since the 2008 season. I was in Greensboro @ the Rutgers/UCONN regional final.... and i do believe they cut down the nets.... Im 99.934 % sure they did.
This just shows how far that program has fallen.

UTenn played a spirited, upbeat, joyous game last night against a decent team that didn't give up.
Holly came in with into the toughest coaching assignments imaginable and with Pat hanging around for goodness sake and bettered by far the expectations of those who thought she was just an interim.
She developed the freshmen, she found something in Kamiko Williams that eluded Pat and her staff and Simmons even passes the ball once in a while.
Kudos to her and kudos to the kids.
They want to cut the nets...good on them.
Maybe the first time they won the conference but not since they entered the national stage.Of course not. I don't believe they have ever cut down nets for winning the regular season title. Ever.
