No shame in losing to Harvard this season, they're good... but blown out? At home? Seriously?

At what point does BCU just blow up their athletic department? #NewEnglandsCollegeTeam

Great win for Harvard. And Rutgers beats Florida.

Can we stretch and consider UMass and/or Holy Cross the Boston area? Since they both also beat BCU that knocks the Eagles to 6th.

Sorry! As attractive as that might seem, Worcester is clearly outside of 495....

OK...looking at the rest of BCU's schedule....I figure they lose a close one to URI....and then I don't see where their next win is coming from...

Anybody?

FB = terrible
MCBB = tonight
WCBB = used to be NCAA every year; now they're losing to MEAC teams

They may pick off a game or two against the lower level ACC teams: Wake, NCSU, GT, VT, but they have no sure wins remaining.

BCU is a women's soccer school now. I suppose their hockey team probably still wins some games against Canadian schools -- or whoever else plays hockey.

Someone just rated the ACC the 7th strongest conference, so seems like there are other crappy teams for them to play.

Georgia Tech is life and death right now (down nine with 4 minutes left) against a Fordham team that would struggle to win a championship at the Bronx YMCA league.

Quite honestly, I'm suprised BCU didn't lose by more. This is the same team that lost to Holy Cross by 20.

Of course the Flipper will blame all of their problems on BCU's supposedly "rigorous" entrance requirements. Yeah, O.K. Flipper.

At the Basketball Beanpot, BC was left cleaning up the mess.

They "rigorously" pursue mediocrity in all of their sports programs.....that much we know....

I really enjoyed seeing that score. When I wrote on the BCU Insider, after they had joined the ACC, that their programs were likely to become mediocre, I had no idea of just how mediocre they would become. Figures... the next step from arrogance is failure.

Flipper is on the phone right now with Dixon and Boeheim and telling them "See. You can stink out the place and field walk ons. It doesn't matter. Recruit your Mother Jamie! You are getting an ACC check no matter how much you suck!"

I wonder when the ACC's buyers remorse will kick in.

Why did they fire Al Skinner again? He wasn't the greatest coach in the world but he made them competitive and he was able to recruit under the radar guys like Craig Smith, Jared Dudley and Troy Bell.

I'm pretty sure it has kicked in by now. Same with Miami. At least VT has a good football team. If Dixon leaves Pitt for UCLA they will be completely useless and Cuse has their own problems with Bernie Fine, both add nothing for football...

Steve Donahue has to realize he's in the ACC now. He recruited like he's still in the Ivy League.

I am not sure what the exit fee is for the ACC, but I cannot imagine the best among the football schools are happy.
