I still love these kids, but he's right they quit in the second half. I don't know why, but they did.

Something is just not right. It's not a lack of talent or anything. This team just soft. Even last year when they were losing they fought. This team doesn't fight, it lies down if things start to go bad.

This quote sums up my thoughts:

"Yet the Huskies will not win anything serious if they do not repair an offense that, frankly, stinks right now."

Seems as if they are very sensitive and not confident. AO always pouts, we have been told by Dickie V that Bazz is up one day and mute the next and Lamb went through confidence problems last year which caused his benching. It is a mental problem. When they are pressured, they begin to panic and forget to run the offense. Last year, Kemba was the epitome of confidence. It rubbed off on them last year. They are lost without him. Too much pressure was put on these kids too early.

This is the relevant quote. Read it Jeremy, read it and learn it.

"I asked him, 'How good were you, Dick?'" Pitino said. "He was about as humble a man as I ever met. He said, 'I was great player. I couldn't shoot, but I was great because I could get to the middle of the floor.'"
"He said inferior guards play on the sidelines and great guards play in the middle. The Isiahs, the Magics, the Chris Pauls get to the middle. What we try to do with guys like [Lamb] is keep them on the sideline as much as possible. We try to take their talents away. We did a great job tonight."

Seems as if this year Lamb is relying too much on his outside shot and has swayed away from his floater. His floater has just disappeared!
