Unfortunately, BC has some power over UConn. It was the Flipper (BC Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo) that blocked UConn from entry to the ACC in the last vote.

I know. And instead of having the vision to realize the value of the competition and interest that renewing a regional rivalry would bring, they seem satisfied with being an irrelevant, ineffectual island in the ACC.
