Hello.....other than a fumble on the punt return the other terrible outcome is to let the punt hit the ground and roll 60+ yards like we saw yesterday. Simple solution, used by every HS Coach in America, put 2 return men back with the instruction that the ball is not allowed to hit the ground! But those HS Coaches aren't making $2 mil per year!

We lost momentum & set up Navy's go ahead score by not catching last punt. That ball can not bounce down to the 4 yard line.

If we are not going to return 99% of the punts. We should have 2 receivers back & be sending 2-3 to aggressively block the punt, every time.

Our opponents release 7, while our squad does not make an effort to rush the punter or block downfield. The result is the kicker take an extra 1.5 seconds to get off better kick and allows the coverage to get downfield an extra 15 yards.

The strategy looks good when the receiver is surrounded by opposing colors. I do not mind it as long as we attack the punter and catch every ball.

Yep. Catch the punt and we win the game. Don't play "max protect" on our own punt (like we're expecting Navy to go for the block at that point), and we likely win the game. Don't burn the timeout and we likely win the game. Don't run the ball with no timeouts and we likely win the game.
