Friends and I had a heated debate tonight, so I thought it would be a good topic. Who makes the better pro?

Oddly think they’d fit better on opposite teams. Harper on 6ers. Edgecombe on Spurs. Bc they overlap with players already on their current teams.

I say Edgecombe starts off better but Harper ends up with a better career.

Harper overlaps more with Maxey and McCain though.

I think they're both going to be good - as is Tre Johnson. I think VJ could be like an Ant, and Harper is going to be like a Cade. Not necessarily AS good, but that would be the high-end projections.

I feel like Fears, Bailey and Maluach will be less "good" than they are projected, whatever that means.

I think they'll both be very good, but Harper will be the better player. He has the PG skills that I think Edgecombe lacks, so I don't see that experiment going well for him. Neither one has a particularly easy path to playing PG like they want though, so that'll be interesting

I hadn't seen the buzz about Edgecombe trying to play PG, is that what HE wants? He seems like the perfect 2G, I am kind of flummoxed by that.

Harper seems like he's always been that big lead guard type, in mentality. Ironically, similar to Castle but with different styles.

I personally think Harper fits well with McCain and while Maxey is a great player and pretty ball dominant, he's not really a true PG.

personally, Bailey was prolly the best fit for the Sixers with their current roster

Guess it could be a 76ers thing but this was what I saw. I thought I saw another quote that was more explicit but can't find it now

McCain - Shooting Guard
Maxey - Point Guard
VG - Combo Guard

Sixer can get by with Maxey and VJ and push McCain down to bench guard. All depends if they want 3 bigs (Embiid, George, Oubre) or 3 guards.

Let's see how VG plays out in the Summer League as there is no way Maxey is pushed to the bench but McCain could be.
