Such a wonderful experience, so many memories. Sat with my brother in the top row of the bottom section of the Trop. Stood up the entire game. 5.2 seconds to go score is 75-74, Khalid goes to the line. I have us beating Duke 75-74 in my pool, I kid you not. I say screw the pool make the free throws. He makes them and I win the pool - $1600.00! Told me ex wife when I got home that next to the births of my 2 children it was the greatest day of my life. She says "what about our wedding day"? I say "not even close". Notice I said ex wife.

Flying back to Hartford the next day our lay over is in Raleigh. I get off the plane ready to talk some serious smack. We were instead greeted like conquering heroes. People of North Carolina hate Duke and love UNC. They were ecstatic that we won.

Thank you Rip, K Free, Jake, Ricky, Khalid, Rash, Edmund, Souly and all the rest but most of all thank you to the GOAT, Jim Calhoun.

There was a quote in the "Daily Tar Heel" (UNC student newspaper) about the game watch party in Chapel Hill "It was like the UConn uniforms were trimmed in Carolina blue"

Amazzzzing night. I had to flip nights for the Stones in Hartford so I damn sure went back to back.
