Fast forward through October, as much as our offense gave us a lot of optimism tonight it's almost a guaranteed 2-6 record after @WVU, South Florida and @Pitt. USF just couldn't stop the spread but they'll rebound and make it 3rd time's the charm at the Rent this year. They have too much talent to let another 2007 happen. WVU and Pitt I won't even bother arguing with, pencil those in as losses.
Don Brown put in an Edsallesque soft zone offense today but even Randy knew not to have GW as a cover corner on their best receiver. Great coach but until he takes at least a year to install his aggressive defense and meanwhile we're well on our way to end up 2-9 like his 2009 Maryland team.
It sucks that the only thing UConn football fans can rejoice right now is that 2-3 is better than the 1-4 of our brethren in Chestnut Hill.
