Despite the last year and a half, he is a career .300 hitter with good power and good base speed plus he is only 28 years old. He probably should not be a short stop but he has hit well enough to play any position. Sometimes a change of scenery is good for a player.

My biggest concern for Barry is that he does not seem to have a great attitude. When he was in the Red Sox farm system, he had some issues which may have been why the Sox were willing to trade him. Early in his Florida years he had more issues. Hopefully, he can turn it around with the Dodgers. He has Hall-of-Fame talent.
