- It appears Samson Johnson enjoyed that steal and breakaway last game so much, he decided to do it again about 3 minutes into this game.
- Timeout 5 minutes in, we're shooting 67% to Hall's 17%.
- I swear, the play at 10:17 Looked like last year's Huskies!
- Diarra gets a questionable call for blocking at 8:43, immediately followed by a flat out bad call on the rebound @ 8:39. Neither Mahaney nor Nowell were particularly effective in Diarra's stead. We ended the half with Liam playing point forward.
- VERY pretty feed, Solo to Samson for the one hand catch and slam.
- At the half, we are shooting 58,36,100% to Hall's 31,27,50%. Also leading rebounds 22 to 8, and assists 9 to 4. We have no player in double figures in the 1st half, but 8 Huskies have scored.
- Not sure how we only got credit for 3 blocks in th 1st half.
- Johnson scores the 1st bucket of 2nd to become the first Husky into double figures.
- Ball follows Johnson into double figures on the next possession.
- And then AK!
- (16:11?) Diarra steals the ball and boogies downcourt with Dual in close pursuit. I swear he could almost taste the block he was planning. But instead of taking the layup, Hassan throws the ball high and hard off the backboard for Samson to grab and stuff it as both Diarra and Dual run out of bounds. Diarra was a good 12 feet ahead of Samson when he threw it high off the glass. How did he even know Samson was there? Might've been our most heads up play of the year!
- Ended up with 5 players in double figures, led by Solo's 17. Two reserves (Stewart & Mahaney) were among the five in double figures.
- Karaban led the way on the boards with 10.
- Percentage-wise, we went 52,32,94 to Hall's 35,25,59
- We also led 42 to 20 in rebounds and 21 to 9 in dimes.
