The youth movement didn't show any nerves and Azzi had her breakout game. 47 points for 2 sophs and a freshman -- almost enough to win it by themselves.
The passes were crisper, the movement on offense was better, almost no one tried to put up a shot in the paint against 3 or 4 defenders instead of passing the ball to an open teammate, Olivia's stat line has no relation to her impact on the game, and team defense was stalwart and mostly organized.
Hope this is a harbinger of more to come.
