I just realized our strength is not in our offense (we have some of the best players in the league) but in our defense. When we lock down we can beat anyone, and compensate for the droughts and the bad halfcourt executions. Our lead tonight wasn't built on our offense but defensive stops. We actually looked good, same for the 2nd half of the cuse game when they play team defense. Its the one area where team chemistry works with this squad.
When we stopped 'd-ing' up, Providence came back and stole the game. Maybe Lamb, Ryan, Bazz and others should put defense as the priority and offense secondary. Most games I focus on scoring, who' hot and showtime plays. Overlooking our key to victory.
Is that too obvious, wrong or I am just waking up late this season? Its the only hope I can build on with this team in terms of the near future.
