...for collegiate female athlete of the year. The other finalists were Teresa Noyola (soccer) of Stanford and Keilani Ricketts (softball) of OU.

Another award Baylor stole from Stanford. Is there no justice?

Please tell me that you paid for CardFan's dinner in Denver. :)

How did the Baylor players do in the MLB draft?

Re Griner, it was well deserved. Her team went an unprecedented 40-0 and beat the defending champion (multiple times), as well as the no. 2, 3, and 4 teams. She was obviously the key.

He comes into our house, puts his feet on the coffee table, and helps himself to anything in the fridge. :D

LOL. We exchanged some messages and chatted about meeting in Denver, but didn't happen. I left early Monday am in a bad mood, so chances were slimmer. :)

I wondered where you went. The story of my life...they get mad and leave, and as usual, due to nothing I have done.

LOL. I wasn't mad, really. It was me, not you. :) I didn't expect to win. However, the F4s in Indy and San Antonio were much different story, and 1997 in Cincy was THE biggest disappointment of all. I left early each time.

Consolation: Fans of 300+ schools would love to be in the Final Four, win or lose.

Oddly enough, Cincy was the first Final Four that I ever attended, and I also attended Indy and San Antonio. Maybe I am a bad luck charm for Stanford.
