Griffin Out Another 2-3 Weeks

According to reports out of Ossining this afternoon, Aubrey Griffin will be out an additional 2 to 3 weeks, due to that serious High Ankle Sprain. At that time, she will be re-evaluated. Ossining played Christ The King HS out of NYC, and played without Army recruit, Jaida Strripoli, as well as Griffin, and got blown out of the house, 91-50. Worst loss for a Ricci Coached Team in many many years.

Injury bug has certainly impacted 2 of 4 years of Aubrey's High School career. She lost her entire Sophomore Year with her knee, and now the High Ankle Sprain in her Senior Year. Let's hope that her UCONN career is injury free.

It very much sounds like she may not play on January 18 at Springfield College when Ossining will go up against a good local team....Springfield Central. Her absence might discourage some UConn fans from attending.
