Edited because I missed the OPs intent with this and added in secondary at the bottom For best overall performance, DT in 2003 would get my vote, largely because Tennessee had a very good team that year and DT did just enough to get them over the hump both times in two very hard fought games. It was one of the only title games where the outcome truly felt like a toss up going into it. 2004 Tennessee was quite hobbled and it was a team effort with no standout performance. Moore's 2nd half vs. Stanford would be my #2. Both teams were dreadful in the first half and Moore just took over in the second half and propelled UCONN to a title. Stanford was very good that year too. Most other titles either didn't have a hugely standout performer (1995, 2002, 2004, 2015) or faced really overmatched competition (2009, 2013, 2014, 2016). The 2013-2016 stretches were all blowouts besides 2015 which was just an ugly game. Certainly some great performances by Stewart/Dolson/others, but quality of opponent just wasn't nearly as strong so it gets downgraded in my book. 2014 ND had a great team but without Achonwa UCONN's bigs had an absolute field day going up against freshman Taya Reimer and Ariel Braker. 2000 had some great standout performances and Tennessee was very good that year but that was truly a consummate team effort. Ralph/Schumacher were spectacular, but not to the degree of DT in 03 or Moore in 2010. That teams gets my vote for best team title game performance. Secondary performances....Jessica Moore hit a ton of layups vs Tennessee in 2004 that were a big difference maker. Asjha Jones never gets talked about for putting up 19/9 in the 2002 title game. Maya played great in the 2009 title game which is commonly overshadowed by Tina's 25/19. Strother's 17 in 2003 was probably the biggest difference maker though for any secondary player....she was huge. Moriah was the best player in the 2015 Final Four despite not getting MOP. IIRC, she defended Loyd and absolutely shut her down.
