The first one was a hot steamy pile. I really could find nothing good about it - nothing.
But we looked much better in the last 15 minutes of the second half and beat a team we should beat.

Next.

I also want to add that those of you who lost heart from 25 minutes of absolutely awful basketball are going to have one long season.

If you look at programs that lost a HOF coach such as IU or Uk it took them several years to get back to the place they occupied before their coach left. We may do better- maybe we have the coach they did not have to start the process, maybe we have better players and a few new players put us back in the dance next year, maybe there is some magic pill that puts us back in the mix after only a few years.

But UCONN fans need to look at the progress that is made game to game- week to week and realize that we have a road that is going to take some time to travel down before we are back to where we started when JC was at the helm. Very few programs moved on without losing a step or two UNC included.

It's a new era for UCONN and fans have to find new ways to enjoy the process. Just trying to keep things real.

WE ARE DOOMED!!!!!!

Even's JC's more experienced teams took steps backwards as the coaching staffs implemented more plays as the season progressed. And this team, outside of SN, is not experienced by a long shot. I'm actually impressed with this team having to play for a new head coach who is forced to play players out of position because of defections.
