Great Game for the W and WBB

Sparks/Lynx... very entertaining. Only down side was some sketchy reffing. Maya bags 31 in a great performance on O and D.

Maya who had a subpar last game, turned on the jets and was unstoppable on both ends of the court.
And that's after she missed her first 5 shots; hardly missed thereafter.

Tonight Parker and O didn't come to play with nearly the fervor they displayed the night before last.

The question is...Who cones to play on Thursday?

the refs weren't favorable to the Lynx early, they was scared to play tight D early cause they were scared fouls may get called.
Fowles and Brunson must be available for the Lynx to win

I thought Nekka (sp) came to play. Fowles just took away all her inside moves.

Yes indeed, a great game, can't wait for the next. The Lynx were very patient and crowded the lanes, Nneka is undersized so she needs room to operate, Parker is just inconsistent, not sure what it is but she can't seem to string a series together. Hoping for a close, exciting next game.

Fowles also played 39 of 40 minutes. She had to - Brunson's foul trouble kept her benched.

I really thought the Sparks were going to win it in 4 after taking a 2-1 lead. They not only had the momentum, but the home court advantage. I think Minny has the advantage now that it goes back home for them. It has been a very even and entertaining series. And a good showcase of the WNBA as a product...
