There is nothing more awkward than visualizing DiMauro sing a KISS song.

And, his Mushnick bashing was stolen from the BY.

Yes, I know you're reading this thread BCGenius.

This article gives way too much credit and concern to the Mushnick crapola. It legitimizes it by addressing it so often and seems a little bit "hey look at how open-minded I am" via emphasizing Ollie's grammar. It is the substance of what Ollie says and the fact that he means it and lives it.

It was a good column. Give credit where credit is due.

Excellent column, especially love these 2 quotes which sums up KO for me, "Ollie's life fortifies his line about how "escalators are for cowards." His deliverance from a rough Los Angeles neighborhood, nomadic professional career and nothing-is-guaranteed first contract at UConn underscores the substance of his road taken: the stairs." Yes I realize its pretty much stolen from the Boneyard, and this one, "He connects with his players. He has magnetism. Not to mention a life story worth studying. Ollie is a good coach, husband and father, not just a beacon to other African Americans, but to everyone else, period."

Well said MT.

Wow, I didn't realize that Archie Bunker was alive and well, working as a sports columnist for the New York Post.

Who knew?...
