And met his Mom while shopping in the team store at halftime, really...really nice women. I had my Uconn garb on and I heard a lady yell - go Uconn and I realized it was her from seeing her on TV. My 13 year old was with me and she took my phone and address and said she'd get Kemba to autograph something for my son. He was exicted, may not happen but that is all fine. Heck he was excited to meet her.
The Bobcats ran a promo where kids under 14 got in free and lower level tickets were only $25, so took my daughter, son and 2 of his buddies to see the game - up close which was nice.
Kemba got the bulk of the applause when he entered during the game, really fun to see him play. I say he'll be starting by mid season. MJ was sitting at the end of the bench and can't help but think he's finally drafted a winner. I can't see him and DJ playing much at the same time as they are a really small backcourt. As we all know - Kemba has "it" and is going to be special...glad he's in Charlotte.
