Goodluck, Okonoboh.

Not sure we really had a chance given his family connections.

duck him. I'm all-in on Chukwu - and if we don't get him, it's not like we're in crisis mode. Got Nolan and Brimah, and a good shot at a number of 2015s.

Mr. Chukwu and Snider need to be made a priority. Larrier/Robinson/White can fall where they may, I have a feeling we'll get one of them (probably Robinson or White).

And we can alter AMA's decision big time when he visits. You can guarantee we're bringing out the big guns.

Something about the Larrier kid is appealing. Like Abu, he seems to be an effort, scoring, attitude, nasty guy.

If I had my pick after Snider (PG is a must get) I'd take Larrier and Abu before all others.

You mean Duke that tier 1 school that UConn owns in the final 4?

The very same. God some of you guys are embarrassingly sensitive. Doesn't that get old? Duke can pick and choose more than UConn (and more than Indiana) when it comes to recruiting. That's just how it is. Don't take it so personally.

How about this: Jim Calhoun is the greatest coach in the history of sports; UConn basketball is the greatest program in history; Rudy Gay is better than Lebron. You feel better?

It's impossible to make an observation about another team around here without the Butthurt Police jumping into action to point out that, despite [positive observation], UConn is still the best at everything.

Amen.

Part of Ollie's job is to get UConn into that "blue blood" group. Right now we're another good decade away, and when we finally get there, then he'll be able to pick and choose his recruits a little more.

(If you're curious: Kentucky, UNC, UCLA, Duke, Kansas and IU are the blue bloods, with Louisville, us, Michigan State and Syracuse knocking on the door to one extent or another)

I don't know what you're thinking. Kids don't remember the UCLA championships, or most of the Kentucky, UNC, and Kansas championships. When Ollie takes this year's team to the Final Four, it will validate him as a coach and we'll be one of the most attractive schools in the country to recruits. When he gets his first national championship, that will be #4 for UConn with two different coaches and that will validate the program as a blue blood by any reasonable measure.

Maybe this will take a decade, but I doubt it.

You mean the same Indiana that hasn't won a championship since 1987?

One of the best responses I've seen on the Boneyard- Bravo. We have the same amount of titles as Kansas, and are 1 behind Duke. We have 3 titles in the past 15 years. Most dominant program of the most current years- not even debatable. Can't wait to see Shabazz lead us to a 5th final four at Cowboys Stadium.

Matrim55- I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this year's results, if you have us on a "10 year plan".

I think UConn needs to succeed with more than one coach -- until that happens, Jim Calhoun will be viewed as a blue blood coach, but UConn won't be viewed as a blue blood program. Fair or not.
