Good mojos and vibes: Ryan Boatright spoke to the team

Met him his freshman year and found him to be a really nice guy. We talked briefly about his goals and although he didn't get to his ultimate goal of the NBA he seems to have done very well for himself. Nice to see.

Some of his ball pressure magic would be useful tonight, challenging their entry passes.

Perhaps the alums from Purdue's NCAAMBB Championship teams will show up to boost their team's confidence toni....

What's that?

Oh. Really?

Boat was my favorite Husky, ever...despite being the second best player on the team. The D he played in the tourney was amazing. Love me some Boat.
Yup. The Boat/Shabazz backcourt ate everyone up defensively. They are the example of the smaller guys who made life difficult for big guys: they were strong, smart, and Boat was an elite athlete. On the offensive end the size didn't bother them all that much because they were so fast they could blow past most dudes and they could shoot from range with a hair trigger. Both generated their own shots, passed off the dribble, and got fouls at the rim.

You can't really replicate two (let's be honest) sub-6 foot guards like them.
