Morgan Valley settling in at the University of Hartford in her first head coaching job
“Our class - we call ourselves ‘The Fam’ - Jess, Maria, Dee, AB and myself – we have a little group chat,” Valley said. “Maria will send pictures of [her daughter] Layla and Dee sends pictures of [her son] Leo and now Jess has a little one – Naomi. We’re all pretty tight. I got to see Jess and the baby two weeks ago.
“We try to [see each other]. Dee was playing in Europe and AB and Jess were playing in Europe for so long and then everyone gets married and people have kids and you know … but I think we’ve done a good job of making sure we’re all OK and if anyone ever needs anything, we’re always there for each other.”
Her goal at Hartford?
“I want to win championships,” she said. “Jen did it. Kim was on her way. I just want to keep the trajectory and win championships. That’s the bottom line. And make sure our players have a good experience.”
