I’m not seeing a lot of competitive basketball on the schedule today, but this game could be worth checking out on free video stream.

One result worth noting so far today is Tulane’s win on a neutral court over Central Michigan. The Chippewas must’ve enjoyed their Christmas break a bit too much because they came out ice cold, fell behind 21-3 after 1Q, and never fully recovered.

Tulane has had an up and down OOC against a modestly difficult schedule. Early wins over LSU and Washington but lost recently to Alabama and Old Dominion. But this is a big win.

Gonzaga trails Loyola Marymount at the half, 29-23. LMU's pressure defense is really bothering Gonzaga a lot and has kept them from settling into any kind of offensive rhythm.

It figures that just when people (myself included) are starting to talk up Gonzaga they come out flat.

Gonzaga woke up and has gone on a tear in the 2nd half, outscoring LMU 47-17. What a turnaround.

Started off like a lot of games over the Christmas Break...slow. Glad that Gonzaga got it going in the 2nd half.

In fact, they are not commonly challenged. Not quite the history of the men's side, but has really been a strong mid-major for a long time. Do you ever get to games? We were there in 2011? or 2012? when Rutgers played and lost in the NCAA's.

Plebe's comment about their pressure defense is what caused Arizona to lose to LMM, as I've mentioned before. We came storming back, but fell short.

I've seen the Gonzaga women and men play in Seattle, but I've never been to a game in Spokane.

I did just go to my very first Oregon St. women's game in Corvallis today. I've seen them in Seattle several times.
