We know what it was like to lose Paige the first time. Maybe Rory means more to that team that anyone thinks. She will be back, so if that's the case they will re-group and get their act together eventually.

Not having Rory hurts but Texas just isn't playing solid defense or shooting well. Shooting 31% not going to win a lot of games. Of course, Marquette shot 36% and had more turnovers in this game than Texas but going 22/70 from the field. Not good for any team. Props to Marquette on the win. 4-0! Now Texas has to play Louisville later today. Yikes.

My Take: Texas is not quick like they were last year. Rori‘s injury is part of the problem but they just do not appear to be quick enough to play Vic ball. Is it just Rory or does the team lack the desire to give the effort. We will see but to me Texas is not the powerhouse I thought they would become.

Vic has never been an offensive mastermind.

I'd say losing his best player and playing a stacked schedule has something to do with the record.

trying to figure out a top 25 ballot has me looking at schedules and for shame what some programs that could do better put together. Why even bother I wonder? The very nicest thing about Dawn Staley is playing the best teams.

I think Texas will be ok.
