With news breaking on the NCAA firing it's enforcement officer for violations and lack of fairness, why wouldn't it be the right time to go after Emmert on the unfairness of Being penalized twice for the same infraction. kick him in the balls when he's down. If nothing else it would make us feel good.

hit them on their HIPAA violations which the NCAA chose to ignore in our case, but now they become ethical with respect to their tactics

those violations have nothing to do with the APR, but it does point to clouded judgement, hence double jeopardy and retroactive legislation and inconsistent rulings all begin to pile up against them. I wish somebody would bring legal action against the scumbag, but I understand why the university won't

He needs to go. Under his "leadership", the NCAA has been more unethical than ever, or at least more irresponsible in that they failed to hide they way they do things. These guys talk about accountibility, they sit in judgement over programs and student athletes, yet they have proven to not even be able to ploice themselves. The guy should step down, the NCAA should look at revising it's rulebook and then they should outsource the enforcement of said rules. There really is no other reasonable way for this end, although I expect the NCAA to arrogantly refuse to do it.

The NCAA is so ass backwards it's ridiculous. I love how we get banned for education issues from years passed, but all this other ridiculous garbage is overlooked. Kids who are having academic issues this year like Sutherland at Syracuse, are given temporary suspensions but are allowed back to play. All these recruiting violations where teams just lose scholarships, or the player who was illegally recruited sits a couple of games and then the NCAA overturns it, but UConn, who has a roster full of players who had NOTHING to do with the cause for their ban are facing a season long punishment. Even things like the Xavier/Cincinnati fight from last year. All these players get into a huge brawl, swing at coaches and each other and the biggest suspension is 6 games. What kind of example is that? So if you have good grades, you can be a thug on the courts? What kind of example does this set for the future collegiate athletes? Fighting is acceptable with a slap on the wrist, but academic issues from the past are unacceptable? They should fire Mark Emmert for something a past NCAA president did, and then when he asks why, tell him he's being punished for mistakes of his predecessors. Sorry everyone, but this topic gets me worked up seeing our Huskies sitting out for ridiculous reasons. I started a petition months back to get the ban overturned, but could only get like 40 signatures. We could and should be in the tournament this year and I feel we could make a decent run as well.
