Pretty positive piece on Shabazz today in the Globe. He is a Boston guy.

Meanwhile, they list the New England teams that may head to the tournament and open the list with UMass and Harvard. Unbelievable.

Not unbelievable. They listed the three Mass. schools who have a good chance of making the tour. first before they started to list other NE schools. No slight here. It's a Mass. Paper.

If the Courant mentioned UMass and Harvard before UConn, that would be a diss. The Globe is a Boston paper, thus understandable.

It was a nice, complimentary piece, especially talking about Bazz's academic and personal growth.

But I have to wonder if Al Skinner used "was" instead of "were", if the editor wouldn't have corrected that.
