Uconn’s Athletic Dept’s “Giving Tuesday” going slowly. About half the goal ($150,000) with a couple of hours to go. You want nice things, it’s gonna cost ya.

Giving is down everywhere this year. True unemployment in CT is at least 12% and those in service industries that do have jobs are seeing a large drop in income. Counting on those rich NYC transplants to bring their wallets with them.

I had 12 different organizations hit me up on multiple occasions on Giving Tuesday - UConn included. Donor fatigue - I couldn't wait for yesterday to be over.

There are people and organizations that truly need help. I don't think college athletics rates highly on that list right now.

I just got an email from a charity I thought was pretty funny. Today is #ForgivingWednesday. To let yourself off the hook for all the places you couldn't give to yesterday.
