Love the spirit, but quite frankly best not to. Let Gilbert fully recover and have the team learn the right flow and chemistry where the game is played hard but comes easier. I recognize Chief struggles sometimes explaining this so all fans can understand - but please trust me on this.

A tentative 1/2 strength Gilbert might actually hurt team performance.

Can you explain why we were up 18 yesterday and on our way to a blowout win until you checked in during your break?

I think he's probably being held out more for the concussion than the eye. You have to go through the entire concussion protocol before you can play and he hasn't progressed through the entire process yet. They're not playing him until that happens.
